Corporate communications student looking to pursue photography professionally.

Profile:
- Alex has been doing photography as an amateur for the past three years and has just recently shown an interest in pursuing it professionally. He mainly likes to shoot landscapes but also enjoys environmental portraits.
- He believes that the best shots are not of the most interesting things, but instead are the ones that you make interesting.
- While he does not yet have his own website to share his photos, he is hosting some of his work on the photo-sharing website Flickr.
- Alex is also an avid writer and enjoys writing narrative essays, mainly travel, and also research papers on social media, one of which can be found attached to his e-portfolio.
- He also worked on an advertising campaign in the fall of 2008 for a local cat and dog rescue agency called Cat’s Cradle. His role in the campaign was mostly design oriented and being a team player. You can find the powerpoint presentation that his group put together outlining their campaign in his e-portfolio as well.
Experience:
- Alex has experience in using both Mac and PC platforms.
- He is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite programs such as Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
- He also has a basic knowledge of the Dreamweaver program and can put together a basic, functioning website.
- Alex also has some experience with video shooting and editing and can edit a movie using the iMovie program.
- He has also been regularly updating a blog on audience analysis for the past two months and plans to continue updating it with other items pertinent to social media.
